I even went for a swim! It's a very remote spot, but rather beautiful. It was a wild and exhilarating feeling, picking my way along the sands and rocks clad in absolutely nothing, with the seals and the crashing sea to keep me company. It was good for the soul to feel so completely free. It's unlikely to rival France or Spain any time soon, but Scotland now has a special place in my heart for a unique, back-to-nature experience.
