I have a recommendation to add! And that is to use a baggage delivery company to pick up and drop off your baggage along the West Highland Way. Rumble has just produced this wee professional web video for a company called Travel-Lite. I think the walk is one of the best walks that i have ever done. The land scape is second to none and the friendlyness of ever one is just magic….

Hi just had a look at your blog and you have mentioned the Kings House Hotel glencoe on the west highland way, and attached a link but the link takes you to the wrong kings house hotel ie Balquidar. Would be grateful if you could correct this as it causes a lot of problems for walkers and us in the summer

Rod – You’re right. It should have been Kingshouse, rather than Glencoe. That was my mistake. Fixed now. Cheers.

Just making you aware that you have bridge of orchy – glencoe – kinlochleven as part of itinery. Instead of glencoe it should be kingshouse, as glencoe village is situated 12 miles from the west highland way!
